Can anyone please tell me if a BMW V8 will be compatible with Rolls Royce Silver Shadow?

I need to know if I can replace an ageing Rolls Royce Silver Cloud V8 with that of a new BMW V8 as found in the M3 or X5. Will it be compatible, and will it give me a better performance or worse? Also what is the cost of a new BMW V8 in the UK?

No, it will not be compatible. The Shadow has a Rolls-Royce designed V8 that includes the pumps for the high pressure brake system. The BMW engine will not, and may not even fit in the space available. If you want to heep your Shadow it's probably
